We created this festival for passionate dancers that love tango, its origin and its culture, who have refined their exquisite taste and high expectation of their dance experience through intense learning, deep exploration and travel in the name of Tango.

With exercises design to improve your posture, reaction and overall aesthetics of your dance, in this class for women only, Noel will help you find the secrets that will take your dancing to the next level.

11AM – 12PM – Technique for men with Pablo
In this class for men only, Pablo will share with you some of his favorite practice exercises and some unique tips that will make you a better leader. May the force be with you…

12:15PM – 1:45PM – Intermediate Tango – Barridas & Posadas
Pablo and Noel will explore the multiple combinations of these two moves, focusing on technique and proper execution,leading you towards an understanding how to improvise with them.

2PM – 3:30PM – Int- Int/Adv Milonga
Will be touching base with some of the most traditional Milonga steps and their variations. The gold of the class is to get the students to improvise and be able to create variations in rhythm and space.

Sunday, May 28, 2017 – at the Denver Turnverein

11:45AM – 1:15PM – Vals Turns
Turning and changing directions in waltz are a part of the essential vocabulary that makes this dance beautiful and fluid. In this class Pablo and Noel will share some of the dynamic combinations they use (previous experience dancing turns is required).

1:30PM – 3:00PM – Advanced Tango I – Back sacadas for Leaders and Followers
Back sacadas for leaders and followers are often a challenge. Pablo and Noel will teach the techniques that will help you flow with this kind of movements.

3:15PM – 4:45PM – Advanced Tango II – Ganchos Combinations
In this class, Pablo and Noel will work on combinations especially designed to chalenge you in th execution of ganchos for leaders and followers and the different possibilities they present in your improvisation.

Tango connection, action/reaction, synchronization and in-an-out cof crossed legs. All fundamental elements of our style. The most important class of all!

2PM – 3:30PM – Intermediate Vals
Vals combinations in sequences. Exploring repetition of certain movements. Tips on adjusting the moves to the space and timing while doing sequences. Variations to the music.

3:45pm – 5:15pm – Int/Adv Tango
Creatively exploring back steps. Technique and execution of many different back steps during sacadas, paradas and directional back steps.

Sunday, May 28, 2017 – at the Denver Turnverein

11:45AM – 1:15PM – Advanced Tango I
Fluidity of the rotation of the upper body. Quality of movement. Subtleties that make the difference between a good dancer (man or a woman) and a great one!

1:30PM – 3PM – Advanced Tango II
Carolina and Diego’s signature combinations and moves. Together we’ll choose the material to work on this class and tailor it to stretch the students’s abilities.

3:15PM – 4:45PM – Int/Adv Milonga – Milonga Orillera
Priceless material, almost extinct, mostly the milonga Pepito Avellaneda used to dance until the late 1990s, adapted to Carolina and Diego’s style.
