For the very FIRST TIME TOGETHER in LOS ANGELES, GAVITO Tango Festival welcomes this amazing lineup of artists: Marcela Duran & Gaspar Godoy Moira Castellano & Javier Rodriguez Lorena Ermocida & Pancho Martinez Pey Noelia Hurtado & Facundo de la Cruz Agus Piaggio & Maxim Gerasimov All four-days during the daytime, maestros will be teaching a series of progressive workshops, let’s take advantage and learn from some of the BEST in the World! At night we will be graced with an inspirational and exquisite performances. Also, for the FIRST TIME in LOS ANGELES, Gavito Festival features live music by Orchestra Tipica Messiez (Emiliano Messiez)! They are AMAZING, their energy, rhythm, great arrangements, and a broad range of dynamics will keep you on your feet all night, every night! To complement this amazing live music, we had invited an outstanding lineup of DJs from near and from far – Tai Maria (San Juan, Puerto Rico), Avik Basu (Ann Arbor, Michigan), Max Marzano (Rome, Italy), Richard Cepeda (Los Angeles, Ca), El Pibe Rodolfini (Los Angeles, Ca) and Cynthia Maria (Los Angeles, Ca). For those of you who know us and who have been at Milonga Gavito, our love and passion for tango also translates into embracing and welcoming different tango “genres”, therefore we are very pleased to incorporate a Neo-Tango Mini-Marathon into Tango Gavito Festival. We will feature 3-days of Practilongas (Afternoon Milongas) and Milongas (one of which will present live music). The Neo-Tango Mini-Marathon portion of the Gavito Festival will take place in the same venue but in the separate ballroom, featuring excellent lineup of DJs (TBA).
