THE VANGUARD. Once it was the VA National GUARD Armory. For many years it was a vacant shell. Now, after a multi-million dollar investment it is a state-of-the-art distillery, brewery, restaurant, and music venue with a huge new, beautiful hardwood floor. And now, tango has arrived at The Vanguard! No cover charge, but all tangueros and tangueras attending will be expected to order from The Vanguard’s restaurant and/or bar menus.

The Vanguard is located at 504 N. King Street, a few blocks from the downtown Hampton business district.
