Leadership success depends on a variety of factors. This workshop will review elements that are common among individuals that excel in their role as leaders. Argentine tango dancers that are also successful professional leaders repeatedly reported on how dancing Argentine Tango helped them improve leadership skills including team building, communicating clear goals, inspiring a team, developing integrity, and recognizing the need for support. Argentine Tango is an art form that creates a community from a group of individuals by connecting them through a musical structure and body language. The workshop facilitator will provide an introduction into the basic elements of Argentine Tango and lead interactive exercises that help attendees explore a range of body movements and their interpretations. Team building and goal achievement activities will contribute to a fun experience.
The overall aim of this workshop is to highlight how authenticity and emotional intelligence developed through Argentine Tango can help improve leadership skills in the workplace. This workshop is open to everybody and will foster community building.
